I know most of us girls watched the 68th Annual Golden Globes last night just to see all of the amazing gowns and make-up! Who can blame us for wanting to escape our mundane lives for a minute and wishing we could be right there with all of the celebs dressed to perfection! I'm going to re-cap all of the trends that I felt were the best of the evening covering beauty and fashion!

Starting out with my favorite fashion trends of the evening, green dresses were hot on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. You see Best Supporting Actress Nominee for her role in Black Swan, Mila Kunis, was in a stunning green Vera Wang gown, the color green that she chose for her gown goes amazing with her skin and hair color.

Angelina Jolie, who was nominated for Best Actress for her movie The Tourist, looks gorgeous in her green sequined Atelier Versace gown. Her style is one to envy with her simple elegance she always looks amazing!

The next trend I loved was the appearance of stunning backless dresses on this years red carpet. You see Anne Hathaway here looking radiant in a nude colored shimmery Armani Prive dress. She looks absolutely how a young Hollywood starlet should look classy and sexy without showing too much!

Another one of young Hollywood's elite wearing this trend is actress Emma Stone here in a peach colored Calvin Klein. With her new lighter hair color and this wonderful peach dress Emma looks so fresh and youthful. This casual style is so amazing without being overdone.

Now here are my favorite beauty trends of the evening, the first is the strong bang as seen on Sandra Bullock and Olivia Wilde. This bang is not for the faint of heart and it definitely makes a statement but on these beautiful ladies it really highlights their best facial features.

Last but not least my next favorite beauty trend is the return of the strong colored lip. January Jones wears a beautiful and bright red color while Diana Argon sticks to a more rose colored lipstick. Ladies always remember to consider your skin, eye, and hair color when deciding on a lip color because not everyone can wear the same shade.
