A ROW UNLIKE ANY OTHER: THE ROW COLLECTION
Celebrities have made their mark on the fashion industry with tremendous strides in the last decade. Some of which have prevailed, and others that have failed. One particular set of ladies have been ahead of the trends for quite some time and with the expansion of The Row, another clothing line by the famous Olsen twins, have taken the industry by storm.
The Row was launched in 2007 by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, with the "mission to make the perfect T-shirt." The raw elements of the basic T, that can be utterly defining when paired with sassy biker leggings and platforms. The Olsen women have surpassed this mission by far, therefore creating a luxurious apparel and accessories brand that is coveted by women all over the world. The brand covers updated basics with simple embellishments and sophisticated attributes, and is sold in over 130 exclusive retailers internationally.
With New York Fashion Week coming to a close this weekend, The Row on the runway gave critiques a run for their money with the beautiful Fall 2011 collection. The Row managed to incorporate everything from Velvet House Loafers, Fur Hats; Mustard, Beige, Blues, and dark shades, while maintaining the low key, pared aesthetic that make The Row so simplistic.
The Fall 2011 line covers all of the bases. From leopard-print goatskin coats to velvet cropped pants and chiffon t-shirt dresses, the line combines beautiful feminine fabrics with the utilitarian simplicity of that started with a Tee. Most of the line is comprised of practical pieces that add just the right amount of accessory to any outfit.
